Hello,

since I'm using Ubuntu from some months, I was asking to myself if it could be possible include newLisp in the official Ubuntu repositories (or "third party" or "unofficial" ones).

Does anybody tried to include newLisp in a Linux repository (red hat? suse? fedora? mandriva? ubuntu? etc...).
I think it could be a good improvement for Linux users and for newLisp promotion, propaganda!

I maintain newlisp in Arch Linux's Arch User Repository

if it gets enough votes it is added to a more official repo (community). So far, 5 votes. I'm not holding my breath. :-) Other distributions probably have a similiar mechanism--I'd search around on the ubuntu site to see what their policy is.

If anybody who uses Arch Linux wants to try newlisp, they know where to look!
