System variables $0 - $15, $args, $idx, $it and $main-args are now documented in the appendix for the "Users Manual and Reference".

I believe it is worth to put a line "See also: ostype" in this appendix. Some people (like myself) search for it in the variables list (I consider it as a kind of system variable (well, invariable variable), but definitely it is not a function), and got completely disappointed when it is not found there.
