Starting guiserver.jar runs into problems with Zonealarm.
Using "c:\Program Files\newlisp\guiserver.jar" 47011 c:\program files\newlisp\newlisp-edit.lsp will trigger Zonealarm to ask for permission to allow java to function as a server. After granting permission the program proceeds correctly.
But if you double click on the newLISP-GS icon the java server is not accessible (Zonealarm blocks it) and leaves no reason why.
It would be great if newLISP GS would die with a notice that it could not connect to the gui server instead of quietly dying down.
Thanks for all the great work on newLISP

Re: problem starting guiserver
Thanks for pointing this out. Playing with ports and firewalls can be tricky. Hopefully this can be fixed in a future release.
Re: problem starting guiserver
On the coming development version a message box will pop up on Win32, if a connection from the newLISP process to the Java GUI server cannot be established.
